Pride in Service Portrait Campaign

Pride in Service is a PrideVA initiative to highlight the service of lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, and queer (LGBTQ+) VA employees through photographs displayed in VA facilities, internal and external websites, and social media. The campaign is a joint Human Resources Administration/Operations, Security, and Preparedness (HRA/OSP) and Office of Public and Intergovernmental Affairs (OPIA) initiative supported by Media Services and PrideVA, VA’s LGBTQ+ ERG.

PrideVA has paused sign-up’s for the Pride in Service Campaign until we have completed the current cohort of employee sign-ups. OUR CAMPAIGN IS LIVE! and have been posted in numerous sites throughout VA, including in the VA Central Office.

Current VA employees who identify as a member of the LGBTQ+ community can sign up to get their portrait taken when we reopen sign-ups. Anyone who is interested in joining PrideVA as a member may do so by signing up for our newsletter.
