LAVENDER LUNCHES

The PrideVA Executive Board would like to invite all members to our monthly Lavender Lunches! Lavender Lunch is 30 minutes during every time zone across VA where employees can talk about non-work related LGBTQI+ topics. July’s theme is “Pride Recap!” We hope that this will be a space for VA employees to come together, decompress, and share their experiences. Please visit our Teams Page calendar for the link!

General Body Meetings

PrideVA has general body meetings on the first Thursday of every month at 3pm EST. You can find the link to these meetings on the calendar of our teams page.

New VA Tools:

A team of PrideVA members and VA employees on detail with the Veterans Experience Office (VEO) have been working to develop tools and trainings for all VA employees. The TMS link to these trainings is almost ready and will be sent out in our newsletter soon!

2022 Pride Recap!

Thank you for joining us for our first Pride season! We participated in Annapolis, Maryland Pride and DC Pride, but our members were at Pride throughout the country. Our President attended Pride in Philadelphia, PA and our Communications Director tabled with VA at Dallas, TX Pride. We hope that PrideVA will be able to represent LGBTQI+ VA employees at many more pride events next year!
